You are sitting in your balcony this bright morning Anand and went in to the thought of the conversation you had with your son last night.
Yesterday was thursday and you went into Westfields@Parrmatta to buy some toys with your son – Neel. As usual, you were more interested in watching excitement and enjoyment on Neel’s face after entering into ToysRUs. You did not need to remember his favourite aile in the store as he dragged you straight into aile where all the colourful and battery operated cars were thoughtfully arrange to attract the children.
“Stop playing with that car Neel, you will break it” – anyone around you must have recognised that father’s typical voice Anand. Neel looked at you innocently and replied – “My teacher was saying that Vikram Sarabhai’s (Indian physicist) father gave him lot of toys and asked to break them to learn the science behind them”. You were surprised for a while with this logical answer from your own LITTLE Neel. You then smiled and answered – “Vikram Sarabhai’s father was a very rich businessman and your father is doing a job with fixed pay”.
At that very moment, you took out the photo of your father from the wallet and felt the same feeling that the father felt about 25 years ago.
